Special Needs Resource Fair

The following is a message on behalf of Kathy Gray-Mangerson, Parent Information Network Specialist with Arizona Department of Education, Exceptional Student Services for Pima and Pinal Counties.

Attached is a flyer describing the upcoming community Special Needs Resource and Transition Fair. The event is for parents who have children with disabilities of any age. There will be hundreds of vendors who help parents all in one place. I would strongly encourage you to stop by on April 14. There will be lots of information for parents who have children about to enter or are in the transition phase of their IEP which starts when the child is 16 years of age. I would recommend if your child is 14 years of age or older, to make sure you attend the event and learn all you can about this Transition piece. All the details are on the attached flyer.

Please forward this to anyone you feel would be interested in learning about this event.
