Announcement of DVIP Training: A Day With Dr. Dennis Embry

The Diverse Voices in Prevention Sub-committee of the Pima County Community Prevention Coalition presents:
DVIP Training: A Day With Dr. Dennis Embry
Friday September 7th
9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
320 N. Commerce Park Loop, Sentinel Building

Dr. Embry’s free training will focus on:
How the adolescent brain assimilates information. Dr. Embry will explain the Simple Gifts Initiative Program which applies practical science to changing children’s lives.  He will end the day with prevention tools for creating health youth lifestyles including practical applications for family and community.

Lunch will be provided by the Laotian Student Association for $5.00 per person.

Dr. Dennis Embry, Ph.D.:  President of the PAXIS Institute, is world renowned for his prevention strategies that are rooted in cultural wisdom. These strategies are confirmed by science to work across cultures and account for much of the ongoing successful prevention results.
