ACLU Racial Profiling Training for Service Providers

ACLU Train the Trainers Workshop on SB 1070

Monday, September 24, 2012; 6 to 8 PM

Pima County Housing Center, 801 W. Congress St. (large conference room)

 

The ACLU Train the Trainer workshop is intended to inform and train people who work at churches, schools, medical clinics or social service organizations to understand how to work with and guide community members who are directly impacted by SB 1070 and the various immigration issues we face in our state.

This training will provide an overview of 1070, the impact of such a law, how to train people toknow their rights and to get information on reporting any SB 1070 related racial profiling abusesby law enforcement to the ACLU of AZ for purposes of litigation.

Please spread the word about this Train the Trainers workshop. Help see that community members know their rights and understand the importance of documenting racial profiling under SB 1070.
