Mood Disorders Around Childbirth Training – Monday January 7

Training Opportunity

The Thief in the Cradle:
Mood Disorders Around Childbirth

Perinatal mood disorders occur in about 20% of pregnant and postpartum women and can be, but are not always, readily identified and treated. This training helps define these mood disorders, how they develop, who is    at-risk, and treatment modalities that have been effective. Discussion of risk-benefit associated with medication administration during pregnancy is designed to enhance the practitioner’s tool-kit.
