The Grrrls Project is Hiring Facilitators

The Grrrls Project is looking for several group facilitators to work with middle school aged girls, delivering curricula focused on either reproductive health or science and technology.  The program is designed to give girls the skills and knowledge they need to plan for a future of success.  Facilitators have the opportunity to affect young lives and connect with some amazing women!

In general terms, here is what the job is like:

  • Facilitate afterschool workshops for the 8-week series (three hours weekly including set-up, clean-up and reporting)*
  • Conduct these groups once a week or up to 5 days a week (up to 15 hours of work weekly for the 8-week series)*
  • Attend monthly program staff meetings throughout the year (2 hours in the evening or on Saturday)
  • Attend a full-day training each Summer alongside teachers, counselors, school administrators and other professionals

*Workshops are planned to occur once in the Summer (June/July) and once in the Fall (Oct/Nov), which is a total of 16 weeks for the year.  Facilitators may also be asked to conduct workshops over Winter Break and in the Spring (Feb/Mar), depending on the needs of the community.
