Partners in Policymaking Course

It is an innovative leadership training program that teaches people to be community leaders and to affect systems and policy changes at the local, state and national levels. The course is designed for individuals who have a disability and for parents raising children with a disability. The program provides the most current information and education about disability policy, the legislative process, and local, state and national issues that affect individuals with disabilities. Partners graduates gain the abilities to teach policymakers a new way of thinking about people with disabilities.
