Presented by Randi L. Morgan, MA, CCC-SLP and Cuyler M. Romeo, M.O.T., OTR, SCFES

From tracheostomy to treatment; this dynamic interactive learning seminar will walk you through the anatomical and physiological impact of tracheostomy placement on feeding enjoyment and pleasure in children.  Our multi-disciplinary co-presenters (OTR and SLP) will provide learning opportunities through lecture, case study, video review of MBSSs, hands on activities and open discussion so that clinicians will be able to accept a variety of challenging respiratory involved clientele with confidence and compassion.  Learn the basics about tracheostomy placement, anatomy of the swallow, respiratory disease soliloquy and their impact on evaluation and treatment techniques.  Through collaborative learning we will improve outcomes for our medically challenged children with feeding needs!
