Women and Money Spring 2014 Workshops
Saturday, March 15, 2014; 8:30am to 12:00pm:
Budgeting– Learn about the advantages of creating and maintaining a monthly household budget. The class will focus on getting a budget started for your specific needs and those of your family. You will also be provided with tips and advice on how to successfully maintain your budget.
Saturday, April 19, 2014; 8:30am to 12:00pm:
Credit Reports– Learn how to obtain and understand a credit report, why it’s important to review your credit report, and what the information in a credit report entails. Included will be advice on maintaining good credit, clearing derogatory credit, and disputing inaccurate information.
Saturday, May 17, 2014; 8:30am to 12:00pm
Applying for a Mortgage– This class focuses on the steps of applying for a mortgage. Learn about how to prepare to apply for a mortgage, the different types of mortgage financing options, federal regulations and how they can impact your home buying process, and resources available to perspective home buyers.
