Two unique professional development opportunities:

Infant Mental Health
Free of charge to home visitors, this one day workshop focusing on attachment theory, the role of Attachment for very young children, the development of attachment relationships, overview of classifications of attachment and implications for development.  This event includes a learning collaborative composed of two half-day sessions.

Caregiver Depression
Free of charge to home visitors:  Caregiver depressive symptoms such as sad mood, ruminative thoughts, slowed movements and related somatic changes do not have to reach the severity required for diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder to interfere with parenting.  Attendees will learn the possible signs and symptoms of caregiver depression and how to use the Edinburgh depression screening tool.
