Creating Child Centered Environments: A Morning with Lisa Murphy- the Ooey Gooey Lady

Join Lisa Murphy for a morning adventure dedicated to helping educators create places that are exciting, relevant and meaningful for children.  Learn about the nine principles behind The Ooey Gooey® Philosophy.  Discuss what it means to be a hands-on, play-based, child-centered program and learn how a child centered program best prepares children to succeed in school and in life.  Be inspired.  Learn.  Practice.  Plan.

Participants will receive:

  • 4 hours of professional development – all provided by Lisa!
  • Resources
  • Light Continental Breakfast & Snacks
  • The opportunity to spend the morning with other dedicated ECE professionals.

When: August 23, 2014 
Time:  8:30am – 12:30pm
Where: Marriott University Park (880 E. Second Street- Free parking in the Main Gate Garage)
Fee: Payment of $20 is due at the time of registration
