Job Opening: Parent Educator at Casa de los Niños

Casa de los Niños is hiring a Bilingual Parent Educator in their Child and Family Services department.

Job Summary: The Parent Educator is responsible for providing/presenting parent education classes/curricula to groups of parents/caregivers through the Parent Education Program at Casa de los Niños.

Qualifications: Candidate must have at minimum, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in child development, early childhood education, family studies, psychology, social work, counseling or a closely related field. Must possess the knowledge of family dynamics and the provision of family centered services; the ability to interact and relate well with families from a variety of different lifestyles and cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities; an understanding of diverse parenting styles; experience working with complex multi-problem families and the knowledge and ability to access community resources. English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.

This is a non-exempt PRN position with a flexible schedule.  Position is open until filled.
