Car Seat Training in Flagstaff

Event: National Standardized Child Passenger Safety Training Class
Date: August 24-27, 2015
Class Time: Mon-Wed, 8am-5 pm; Thurs, Hands-On Demonstration Car Seat Event, 8am-12pm

Who should attend the training? Home visitors and community members 
Why Is It Important to Your Community?

  • Road injuries are the leading cause of preventable deaths and injuries to children in the United States. Correctly used child safety seats can reduce the risk of death by as much as 71 percent.
  • Seat belts saved more than 66,000 lives from 2007 to 2011
  • Seventy-three percent of car seats are not used or installed correctly
  • The Strong Families Alliance recognizes that Car Seat Safety is a critical issue in our State.

Funding
