Exciting SFAZ Conference News!


 Strong Families AZ 2016 Home Visiting Conference will kick-off on September 20 with a screening of the documentary, Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope. Produced by KPJR films, it premiered to sold-out crowds at the Sundance Film Festival.
Resilience explores the science of stress and the biology of hope as it chronicles the dawn of a new movement led by trailblazers in pediatrics, education and social welfare who are using cutting-edge science and field-tested therapies to protect children from the insidious effects of toxic stress.

KPJR Films also produced HBO’s The Big Picture, Rethinking Dyslexia, a film that gave hope to millions of families around the world who have struggled to educate their dyslexic children. They also produced Paper Tigers, a film focusing on adverse childhood experiences.

If you haven’t yet registered for the conference, be sure to secure a seat at this exciting event. Producer James Redford will be a featured keynote to introduce the film and provide background on the making ofResilience and Paper Tigers.
