Please join the Home Visiting – Implementation Action Center Team (HV-ImpACT) onSeptember 20th for our monthly grantee webinar. Experts from the fields of neonatology, obstetrics and addiction, and perinatal psychiatry will lead an informative webinar on this important topic.
The webinar will:
- Present information on the diagnosis and treatment of mothers with opioid use disorders and infants experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)
- Provide practical strategies that home visiting recipients can use to support local implementing agencies (LIAs) to improve infant and maternal health outcomes for families experiencing addiction who are enrolled in the Federal Home Visiting Program
- Identify strategies for states and territories to integrate Federal Home Visiting Program services into coordinated systems of prevention, intervention and treatment that address the needs of mothers with opioid use disorder and substance-exposed infants
